Actually rather calming
It's actually rather calming, given the habits of the world's only consulting detective. Every so often, John sighs. He's typing something or other. Not sure what. It's probably dull. Sherlock's playing the violin (the Stradivarius, of course). He hasn't bothered to pick up his tea. (Yes, the exact cup that he had coerced Mrs. Hudson into making for him.
It all makes you feel a bit as if you were Molly or Gavin. Lestrade. You know, Gavin Lestrade.
