A Rainy Day at 221B (v. 2)
Sherlock is pottering around the kitchen, conducting an experiment on something or other. He did attempt to explain, but he rather lost you (and John) around the mention of a 'retinohypothalamic tract'. Sitting at his desk, John chips away at another blog post, this one chronicling the mysterious disappearance of an elephant handler at a travelling circus. As you sit by the window, your study material balanced on your lap, you can hear the insistent tapping of rain at the window and the engines rumbling past in the street below. Inside, however, the fire is blazing, the radio is tuned to Classic FM, and everyone is hard at work.
(This version doesn't include the music because the same tune repeating gets boring after a while. Instead, you can use a playlist of classical music. Also, in this variation the position of everything is that you're sitting by the window behind Sherlock's chair, the fireplace is on your right, John is sort of in front of you sitting at his desk and Sherlock is in the kitchen on the far right.
