A Rainy Day at 221B (2.0)
Sherlock is playing the violin while looking down onto the street below, watching people hurry along with heads bowed against the rain and cars splashing through puddles. The lively song keeps his mind busy, almost empty, for a while.
John sits in his chair, typing up their latest adventures and plowing his way through England's tea reserves one bag at a time.
The British weather has turned up in full force, making for a miserable day outdoors. But inside Baker Street, the fire is blazing, the kettle is whistling and the lively violin play is punctuated only by the tapping of keys and the occasional contented sigh.
(This is a slightly tweaked version of ravenclawsimpala's audio 'A Rainy Day at 221B'. I changed the volume levels to make it sound more like the rain was at the window and the cars were more distant as if only just heard coming off the street below. I also changed it so that the sound of Sherlock, the cars and the rain at the window are on the right while the sounds of John's sighs, his typing, drinking and stirring of the tea are on the left! I think it's really cool how it helps you to be able to close your eyes and really feel a part of the environment.)
